Along with the iPhone SE Apple also announced the a smaller version of the iPad Pro in today’s event. The iPad Pro 9.7″ model shares almost all of the specs of its larger sibling with a few notable improvements. The display is lower in resolution but maintains the same clarity of the larger 12.9″ model. The True Tone Display automatically adjusts the display to match the colour temperature of ambient light. It is also touted as the least reflective and brightest display on a tablet.
Apart from the many improvements in display technology, the 9.7″ iPad Pro also features an upgraded 12MP iSight camera and 5MP FaceTime camera akin to the iPhone 6s line. The iSight camera is now capable of shooting 4K videos, up from 1080P on the 12.9″ model.
It will be available in 4 different colour options: Silver, Space Grey, Gold, and Rose Gold. It will come in Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + Cellular models in 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB capacities.
