Apple Pay. – The convenient mobile payment platform which recently launched additional payment options in Canada is now available to BMO, ScotiaBank, and TD customers. Customers of these Canadian institutions can now add their debit cards and various credit cards. Tangerine is also said to follow suit, aiming for late July.

WWDC. – The annual Apple developer event may be focused purely on software this year and devoid of any product launches, despite previous buzz of a possible MacBook Pro refresh.

Invite System. – OnePlus will finally be dropping the highly criticized invite system with the launch of the OnePlus 3 this year.

Mi Band 2. – The latest version of Xiaomi’s popular wearable is now official. The Mi Band 2 apart from the standard fitness tracking features boasts: an AMOLED display, added phone friendly functionality, and an impressive 20 day battery life.

Xperia X. – Sony’s Xperia X family is making it’s way to Canada on multiple carriers. Sony Canada has not yet given any specifics as to which carriers will be carrying either the Xperia X, XA, X performance or X Ultra.
