Sony Canada has a announced that it will be closing all retail locations in Canada within 2 months. The company currently has locations in Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec City, Greater Toronto and Metro Vancouver.
It appears that Sony is shifting to an online-only retail presence in Canada. Sony did not disclose their reasons for closing all 14 of their retail locations but encourages consumers to buy Sony products through 3rd party retailers, their online store and or via telephone.
It’s a sad day for techies like me who frequented the Sony Store for a hands-on of new Sony devices and for their awesome sales.
