Many OnePlus 3/3T owners were beginning to wonder if the company would make good on their “Nougat by the end of 2016” promise, at least in later timezones OnePlus has made good on this. On Twitter co-founder Carl Pei announced the incremental roll-out of Nougat (Android 7.0) on both the OnePlus 3 & 3T starting today. OTAs for Nougat have been confirmed to be seeding to OnePlus 3T users in Germany, U.K., and here in Canada.

Prior to announcement of the stable OS update was the launch of the One Beta Program for the OnePlus 3T, which unlike the OnePlus 3 had no prior inclusion in the Open Beta Program. OnePlus has also announced that the Nougat update for the OnePlus 3 is live now as well (we’ve confirmed in on our OnePlus 3).
